Current Need The Sr. Director – Supply Chain Analytics Service leverages their deep understanding of Information and Technology and their business acumen to assess how Analytics can enable business priorities for PSaS Supply Chain teams. They build and execute plans to deliver technology and drive adoption to maximize value creation.
The Sr. Director Analytics leader is a "trusted advisor" to senior business executives, to establish and maintain value-driven, strategic relationships with all PSaS Supply Chain business partners, and proactively manage business demand. They link Analytics capabilities to business partners' individual goals, and openly pursue these goals in a direct, constructive, but not aggressive, way.
They are challengers, not just relationship builders, so that they become "order shapers" rather than "order takers". Their alignment with the specific Business Segments allows for deep understanding but doesn't obscure an enterprise view of technology needs, enabling them to deliver outcomes that benefit the enterprise.
The Sr. Director teaches for differentiation, reframing the way business partners view their business and their needs. They focus on building constructive tension in interactions to push customers out of their comfort zone. They love to debate and are comfortable "pushing" their business partners.
Key Responsibilities Leads Strategy for Supply Chain Data & Analytics transformation journey. Be the thought leadership, strategist and subject matter expert in all aspects related to Supply Chain Analytics & Data Science Partner with stakeholders in Planning/Procurement/Distribution Operations/Quality & Customer Service teams to align Analytical Solutions with business strategies and contribute to the business unit strategic planning process. Codesign with stakeholders to conceptualize, develop and implement consistent, robust and sustainable Supply Chain & Business Intelligence capabilities. Frames solutions for both large- and small-scale Supply Chain Problems and work with delivery team to conduct a multitude of mission critical analytical tasks including but not limited to Demand Forecasting, network analysis, inventory placement, order management & Supply Chain economic analysis. Cross collaborates with Analytical Delivery team to get projects executed. Own the strategy, planning and execution of business changes using Analytics. Leverages formal organizational change management processes to drive adoption and value. Partner with Business and Analytics Delivery team to define Analytics performance metrics, and measures, tracks, and reports on benefits realization and customer satisfaction levels. Identifies, manages, and resolves issues reported by business units as needed. May assist in the development of service-level agreements (SLAs) or selection of vendors in accordance with standards. Critical Skills Typically has 14+ of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to the areas of Analytics solutions for supply chain and distribution. Six or more years of experience with managing teams Experience with SQL, R, Tableau and similar tools Broad understanding of the current and emerging technology trends and developments Strong ability to look into future opportunities and translating them into breakthrough strategies. Solid planning, financial and performance management skills Ability to perform functional requirements analysis and business domain analysis. Additional Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge of the health industry, major business processes and key performance indicators is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
