Position Summary: OpSec Security is seeking a Director, Systems Analysis in our Engineering organization.
This is a technical leadership role and will require the candidate to understand the systems and platforms developed and supported at OpSec.
This role is responsible for leading a team of Global Systems Analysts who perform business and technical analysis of existing and new software products and features.
The director works closely with fellow Engineering leaders and also Product Management leaders to drive great outcomes.
Systems Analysts are the conduit between Engineering and Product Management, and the director ensures the SA Team is successful in fulfilling that role.Have previous experience leading business or systems analysts, have previous experience working with software development teams, and be comfortable working with other leaders in the organization.
This position will interface with global teams in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, occasionally requiring flexible working hours. Responsibilities: Manage a global team of Systems Analysts.Sets and drives the vision for the Systems Analysis Team.Effectively leads the Systems Analysis Team and stay involved and in some cases spearhead driving key initiatives.Help Build and review healthy Jira dashboards for all product lines and ensure productive work assignment for each Analyst.Drives a positive Systems Analyst culture with high standards.Meets regularly with the Systems Analysis Team to ensure they operate at a high level and are informed of topics relevant to their role.Coaches and develops team members on all aspects of their respective roles.Ensures end-to-end accountability of all analysis initiatives.Works with cross-functional global and local leaders to ensure analyst team is aligned with market needs and creates opportunities for analysts to increase market knowledge and product proficiency.Meets regularly with fellow Engineering leaders to ensure smooth execution within Engineering.Works closely with Director, Engineering Delivery and Excellence to define and refine agile process within Engineering.Meets regularly with Product Management leaders to stay in touch with the needs of the business, priorities, and what is needed from Engineering.Becomes familiar with the various software product lines, including features, user workflows, and system architecture. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in leading teams of business analysts, business systems analysts, technical analysts, technical product owners, or other similar roles.Previous experience interacting with software development teams in an agile environment.Completion of formal agile training is preferred.
