About the Role: Job Summary The Director of Talent Acquisition has direct oversight of NGHS recruitment process. This position is responsible for execution of key recruiting strategies to enable the strategic acquisition of top talent for the organization. The successful candidate will be a master change agent with experience leading and successfully driving large organizational change initiatives. Expert level knowledge of the full life cycle of recruitment including: sourcing, prescreening/qualifying, networking, employment law, job analysis, wage & salary trends and relationship management.
Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree. Minimum Experience: Ten (10) + years of recruiting experience coupled with five (5) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible diverse HR management/consulting experience, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement. Experience must include strategic consulting and project management experience in a complex business environment, healthcare preferred. Extensive and in-depth knowledge of the laws regulations, policies, procedures and practical applications governing the functions of Human Resources. Other: Preferred Job Qualifications Preferred Licensure or other certifications: PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PRC/CRS. Preferred Educational Requirements: Masters Degree. Preferred Experience: Workday ATS experience. Other: Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws. Ability to effectively provide expertise related to workforce planning. Ability to operate independently, understanding when to escalate issues of importance. Highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts and proposals to staff, health system employees and executive team. Strong healthcare or service industry business acumen. Ability to provide strong leadership. Ability to manage and navigate the gray and competing interest of multiple vested parties. Creates credibility as a strategic business partner. Strong understanding of workforce planning practices/metrics and ability to use data to optimize the planning. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Develops and implements key initiatives in the workforce planning and employment. Recommend and implement NGHS strategic goals and objectives within the workforce planning and employment. Responsible for the overall management, design, communication and compliance of initiatives related to workforce planning and employment. Prepares and manages annual budget for areas of responsibility. Demonstrate an understanding of a competitive healthcare market related to current trends within compensation and benefits. Ensures processes, plans and programs for workforce planning and employment are efficient and serve to meet the strategic goals of organization. Directs and delegates work to management team. Foster positive and collaborative relationship with all leaders resolving conflict as needed. Drive a culture of engagement, performance and positive employee relations. Successfully manage multiple priorities under tight timeframes. Physical Demands Weight Lifted: Up to 20 lbs, Occasionally 0-30% of time. Weight Carried: Up to 20 lbs, Occasionally 0-30% of time.
