Director, Us Sales

Believe is looking for a Director of Sales to conduct its expansion in the US. Together with the Global Head of LAS and the Global Head of Music, you will conceive the long-term sales strategy per music segment and definition of the value proposition, lead complex sales conversations to deliver our annual revenue targets, and oversee the service team ensuring we deliver and maximize the value for our clients. The Director of Sales will focus on growth and profitability of the business. Believe is seeking an experienced music professional with strong connections in the US music ecosystem, who can grow, scale, and motivate high output teams to drive outcomes and cultivate a creative and music passionate culture.
The tasks and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for defining and leading priority market segments and value propositionOversees budgeting and forecasting for global revenueIdentify, target, and close new business opportunitiesWork with Central platform to define M&A strategyUnderstand competitive landscape and market trends via in-depth data analysisSales and Client Satisfaction Lead complex sales discussions with clientsSet and deliver on commercial targets, strategic account conversions, target pricing, and other financial objectivesWork collaboratively across all business functions including finance and product to adjust the best sales conditionsTeam Management: Capacity to manage a team of sales and marketing services to labelsCapacity to understand and project value creation to artists and labelsQualifications10-15+ years leadership experience in the US music ecosystem preferably with labels across different genresExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to combine a strong entrepreneurial approach with global corporate requirementsAbility to collaborate and foster a culture of continuous improvement in line with Believe's guiding principlesAbility to communicate, present, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-levelExcellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsExcellent communication skills. A willingness to take on greater responsibilities, along with a strong desire to contribute to overall goals in an autonomous environmentProven ability to plan and execute: An ability to develop coherent, forward-looking strategies to create new business opportunitiesAn experienced leader, inspiring team to high performance with a proven ability to attract top talent and develop/mentor top performers to growth rolesComfortable leading and operating with resource constraintsExperience working within diverse companies and understanding the nuances of different cultures
