Job Title: Dish Room & Utility Food Service Worker
Location: Marquette, MI
Pay: $15.48 per Hour
What's the Job?
- Under routine supervision, perform a variety of warewashing activities within large scale dining operations including, but not limited to; washing, sanitizing, sorting, storing, and transferring dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Utilize manual dishwashing methods, power soakers, and high temperature dish machines, and clean cooking equipment.
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, inspect equipment, maintain proper temperature and chemical dilution, organize storage areas, and perform various dish room cleaning tasks in various food service operations.
- Under routine supervision, provide skills and engage in the service to customers in large volume food service, cash operations, banquets and catering.
What's Needed?
- Full Time, temporary position through December 2024.
- Shifts would require weekends and would be a closing shift - tentatively between the hours of 11 am and Close (10 pm).
- One year food service experience with emphasis on dish room sanitation.
- Knowledge of proper warewashing procedures and food service sanitation.
- Ability to organize and prioritize task lists, multi-task or switch tasks efficiently, fully complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
