Dish Washer/ Prep Cook

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Dish Washer/Prep Cook to join our team and ensure that our kitchen is clean and well-maintained, and also assist with the preparation of high-quality meals for our guests.
The Dish Washer/Prep Cook will be responsible for washing dishes, pots, and pans, preparing ingredients and assisting with the production of menu items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities: Wash dishes, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by handMaintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and mopping the floor and cleaning equipment and surfacesPrepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring out spices and other ingredientsAdhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing foodAssist with inventory management and ordering supplies as neededOther duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dish washer or prep cook or in a similar roleStrong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accuratelyAbility to multitask and handle a high-volume workloadAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of food safety standards and guidelinesBasic math skillsAbility to lift heavy objects Perks: Competitive payFree primary health care services through VitableProfessional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive work environment
