Description Pay Range: $16.00- $20.00 per hour
Under the Food Service Manager supervision, the DISHWASHER performs the following duties:
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Organize, clean and store dishes, silverware, glasses and all cooking apparatus used in food service departmentsEnsure specified water temperatures are usedEnsure cleanliness and health code standards complianceMonitor products used to clean utensils and equipment and replenishes when necessaryOrganize storage shelves and maintain proper inventory of equipment and suppliesRecord breakage and losses of utensils and equipmentMaintain cleanliness of dish washing area including floors, counters and wallsRemove waste from collected bus tubsStock produce for kitchen walk-in and rotate as neededStock dry goods into kitchen storage areasMaintain cleanliness and organize walk-inEnsure safety of work area by removing debris and hazardsAssist in training for new dishwashers as neededKeep work area clean and safeInteract with co-workers in a friendly productive mannerEmpty trash in work areas and transfer to dumpsters QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Training/Education:
A High School diploma or G.E.D.
certificate
Experience:
No training and experience necessary - entry level position

Learn procedures used in cleaning and storing kitchen utensilsLearn applicable health codesPromote teamwork, working harmoniously and as a team with those contacted in the course of workWork in an accurate manner in a fast-paced environmentCommunicate with supervisors and co-workers in a manner able to be understoodMaintain a clean and safe environmentComply with company standards and directives Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Perform repetitious movements while standing for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)Push, carry and lift large equipment and supplies up to 50 poundsBend, stoop and kneelExtend arms overhead and reach for products and boxesWork both inside and outside in wet and/or dry, hot and/or cold conditionsPerform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentComply with health code requirementsHelp with deliveries of kitchen product.
Stack cases of product of varying weight, up to 70 pounds per case or bagBreak down produce pallets.
Stack cases weighing up to 70 pounds in the walk in cooler Special Requirements: Must be available to work various shifts as needed
