Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.
Major areas of responsibility:
•Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.
•Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
•Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
•Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
•Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
•Sweep or mop floors.
•Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
•Clean garbage cans with water and soap.
•Store supplies.
•Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators.
•Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
•Clean dish machine - Break down at the end of the night.
•Perform additional cleaning duties as requested.
•Maintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers.
