Dishwasher

Summary:

The dishwasher ensures there is a continuous supply of clean dishes and kitchen tools in order for the cooks to produce the food for the guests.
The dishwasher cleans, sanitizes, and dries the dishes in accordance with health department guidelines and the training provided.
The dishwasher visually inspects all the dishes to ensure they are clean before allowing them to be sent out to the dining room or the kitchen.


Essential Functions: Performs dishwashing responsibilities, which require that silverware, dishware, pots and pans, etc., be cleaned to sanitation requirements and to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintains the dish machines and dishwashing area within sanitation guidelines, follows and signs checklists Reports needed repairs to the Manager.
Assists with basic food preparation when needed.
Assists with food deliveries as directed by the supervisor and cleans and maintains coolers.
Seeks to develop capabilities in the area of basic food preparation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: A self-starter.
Demonstrates the ability to perform high quality work.
