The Dishwasher is responsible for providing the restaurant with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware, and equipment and is a crucial cornerstone to the operation.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Ensures dishes are sanitized and available as needed Sets up dish machine in the AM and closes machine in the PM according to company procedures Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine Washes plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift Complete any other task given with enthusiasm, dedication, and professionalism.
Requirements:
Experience working in a fast-paced working environment Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 lbs.
throughout entire shift and place these items on high and low shelves in storerooms, walk-ins, and freezers numerous times throughout the shift Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun, and positive attitude Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
