Drake Cement and its sister location—the Tehachapi Cement Plant in California—form the cement unit of UNACEM North America. Together, they create a single, integrated business with an expansive market in the Southwest United States. Responsibilities:
Operate cement transfer pump safely and responsibly to refill other cement silos as needed to maintain cement invantory and comply with environmental regulations
Operate Dispatch equipment to load trucks per DOT regulations and company policy to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations
Perform reqired routine maintenance of dispatch equipment to keep pipes and distroubution points clear to ensure reliable product flow and maintain quality of cement.
Troubleshoot dispatch equipment to asses problems that will require other departments involvement to repair to ensure reliability and effency
Effictavely communicate required work to remedy issues of dispatch equipment with other departments to ensure timely repairs of equipment
Perform houskeeping duties to minimize trip hazards as required by MSHA and company policy
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is required.
