Dispatcher - Swing Shift

Dispatcher - Janesville, WI Terminal Kaiser Transport, Inc. an LTL open deck, OTR Transportation Company that specializes in the movement of machines, equipment and commodities has a full-time opening for Dispatch Apprentice. This position reports to the Lead Dispatcher and will perform supporting duties in dispatch, yard and facility. This is an apprenticeship that can lead to promoted positions within dispatch and yard.
Key Job Responsibilities: Support Dispatch Operations as directed by the Lead Dispatcher Posting Trucks, searching for freight, and booking freight on load boards Confirm pickups and deliveries with customers Update and assist with the central operating system Process Bill of Ladings Process Load Information Key Job Qualifications: Must be detail oriented Must be self motivated and focused on continual learning and improved performance Must have strong verbal and written communications skills Must be able to multi-task Must be software literate and proficient in all Microsoft Office programs Must be able to succeed in a fast-paced, open office, and high call volume environment Must be able to pass a post-offer physical which includes a hearing and color vision test TMW TruckMate experience is a plus Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday with some weekends, up to or above 50 hours per week determined by business need. This is a non-exempt hourly position. The annual pay range will be from $55,000-$60,000 annually.
