The Dispensing Pharmacist work assignments involve product verification, maintaining physical stock in automation systems, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.Schedule: Week one: (M-F) 11:30am - 8:00pm CSTWeek two: 2:30pm - 11:00pm CSTSome Saturdays may be required.Location: Enclara Pharmacia, Inc. 2525 Horizon Lake Dr. Ste. 101 Memphis TN 38133Summary:Checks and verifies prescription for accuracy, standard compliance, dosing or dosage form errors, and adjusts documentation and labeling as needed.Assures the workflow is optimized.Provides input into development of standards, policies, and procedures for achieving and maintaining high quality patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Checks and verifies Rx label, drug name, strength, dosage form, and quantity with the dispensed medication. At reject and edit workstation, the pharmacist researches and validates correct dosage directions, medication, and dosage forms and edits and corrects as needed. Communicates these changes via email or documentation. Reviews internal comments and encounter for discrepancies. Maintains proper control and care of drug supplies and equipment. Follows SOP for out-of-stock notification. Monitors established quality assurance measurements for the department to meet objectives and regulatory requirements.Signs and approves all compounded dispenses and sign log sheets for checking prepack labels prior to release for dispensing. Assists in pharmacy end-of-day closing and verifies SOPs have been followed.Maintains knowledge and proficiency in the dispensing and checking systems with acceptable verification rates and overall efficiency.Required QualificationsPharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.Licensed as a Pharmacist in Tennessee.Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group.Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.Excellent communication skillsProficient with computersAccurate with strong attention to detail.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Ability to maintain control in stressful situations and offer leadership as needed.Ability to recognize the needs and concerns of others resulting in constructive working relationships.Currently in compliance with mandatory continuing education requirements.Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.Preferred Qualifications3+ years of experience in a high-volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment.Use your skills to make an impact Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $93,000 - $128,000 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
