Job Title: Distribution Engineer
Job Description
As a Distribution Engineer, you will provide detailed engineering, design, and planning assessments and recommendations. You will evaluate system operations and develop project scopes for overhead and underground utility systems. You will be involved in the evaluation of electrical power systems and designing overhead/underground replacements per utility standards. Your role will also include developing or modifying estimates and engineering drawings using tools like BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and GIS software. Regular site visits for data collection, coordinating ROW acquisition, planning, and design functions, and regular project updates for schedule adherence and work forecast will be part of your role. Expect to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, with potential for overtime. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Hard Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
0-1.5 Years' Experience
Soft Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, engineers, and colleagues
Ability to coordinate and plan effectively
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week on a regular basis, with possible OT

This is a fully on-site position in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Work Environment
This role is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime. Site visits will be part of the job for data collection and project updates. Regular meetings with managers, engineers, and colleagues will be conducted for project status updates.
