We have an immediate opening to join our growing company. We are currently seeking an entry-level, part-time DME Sales and Service Associate in the New Jersey/Philadelphia territory. This position will be responsible for the growth and maintenance of Pacific Medical's Insurance Billing, Direct Bracing, and Top Shelf Orthopedics sales. This position will provide the opportunity to enrich the lives of patients, provide invaluable service and cost savings to the medical community, and obtain an incredible level of experience within the healthcare environment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Service current physician and clinic accounts for our medical products and provide exceptional customer service to all physicians and staff.
· Perform patient care functions including, but not limited to, patient measurements and application of orthopedic soft good devices such as knee orthoses, spinal bracing, ankle-foot-orthoses, and other devices as necessary.
· Must have a command of all products and services and communicate these effectively to the customer. This includes knowledge of the functionality, features, and benefits that differentiate our products from the competition.
· Communicate with clinical staff to receive proper documentation to create a billable episode of care.
· Manage and maintain inventories of consigned products within accounts. Review inventory reports and provide information as needed to the external and internal teams to improve and resolve discrepancies.
· Screen calls and emails regarding patient status and reports potential problems to internal and external resources.
· Appropriately communicate and legibly document all care provided to the patient.
· Collaborate with the healthcare community (physicians, nurses, medical assistants and other team members) to organize and prioritize functions necessary for patient care delivery.
· Attend regional and corporate meetings, trainings, and seminars as needed.
· Adhere to the Medical Centers policies and procedures and core values.
Requirements:
· B.A or B.S. Degree preferred.
· Background or experience in healthcare, sports medicine, physical therapy, or athletic training preferred.
· Valid Driver's License
· Knowledge of Human Anatomy
· Competent in Microsoft based Platforms (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook)
· Ability to travel (drive) throughout the territory during the day.
· Hard-working with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Compensation Range:
Base pay of $20-$30/hr with a monthly expense reimbursement for all eligible expenses. Monthly Bonus/Commission opportunity upon review.
