Summary
The Driver Class A - Transportation is directly responsible for the transportation of loads and unloads of freight in and out of warehouse facilities.
This role is responsible for the timely movement of equipment to and from warehouse to events for the purpose of flawless execution.
This position requires strong driving and coordination skills.
This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team.
The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Austin, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with all truck moves, including tractor-trailers and straight truck needs Assist with proper loading and unloading of company trucks Assist with various warehouse tasks as directed by the supervisor Operate in a safe manner, obeying all local/state/federal regulations and all company safety policies Fulfill all Department of Transportation requirements, including periodic medical evaluations, completing forms for driver qualification file, hours-of-service and vehicle inspection logs Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions Perform other duties as assigned Education & Experience Must be at least 21 years of age in order to apply to this job High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required 1 year driving experience preferred CDL A or B preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid Driver's license for vehicles 26,000 pounds and less
Must have or have the ability to obtain Department of Transportation Medical Certificate
