As a member of our team, you'll be immersed in the world of industrial pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF), and commercial plumbing, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise that is second to none.
What You'll Do on the Job: Delivers orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers. Daily material handler and order picker responsibilities Check all material and products received via Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx or customer returns. Pulls orders for shipment from warehouse and pipe yard inventory utilizing RF gun and forklift power equipment. Stages and prepares orders for shipment while ensuring the items are packaged neatly. Completes all shipping paperwork promptly monitoring closely for any errors or quality discrepancies. Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles. What We Need From You: Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; strongly prefer at least 1 year of related warehouse, material handler, distribution and delivery experience. RF gun experience and Box or Dually Truck experience is strongly preferred.
Valid Driver's License with F Endorsement and good driving record.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience.
Certificates: Medical Certificate/Health Card following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday.
Physical Ability: You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
