C2 Group is seeking 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate pilots with experience conducting missions for the purpose of inspecting Electrical Transmission & Distribution structures. A professional approach to flight discipline and sound judgment is a must. Experience with Utilities Inspection flight operations in California is desired.
What You Will Do: This position will be integral to providing critical information to help prevent infrastructure failures and for preventing utility-caused wildfires. Flight operations will be conducted utilizing several platforms, autopilots, and sensors. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with extensive experience operating uncrewed aircraft with small deployed teams and minimal direct supervision. This position will be based in Southern California and will require continuous deployment for the project's duration. The UAV Pilot (RPIC) will perform the preflight, flight, and post-flight duties on company-owned aircraft. The Operator shall be cross-trained on multiple positions and platforms to allow for minimal crewing for flight locations and flexibility across customer bases.
Any pilots not meeting the minimum requirements outlined below are still encouraged to apply and will be considered for Visual Observer (VO) positions available in the same service area. VOs in possession of a Part 107 certificate will be eligible for promotion through training while working for C2 Group.
