Drywall Lead

Drywall Lead The Drywall Lead supervises multiple site-based construction operations for assigned projects. Our projects are residential focused – restoring homes with fire/water damage, as well as remodel work.
This position is considered hands-on, and is based in the field. We are looking for someone who is willing to 'roll up their sleeves' and do what is necessary to get the job done.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level drywall finisher duties
Estimate time, material, equipment and supplies needed
Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues
Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner; assigning tasks, making sure drywall jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to standards
Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects
Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication
Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lead Drywall Finisher or similar role
Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor
Have experience working in occupied residential dwellings
Experienced in most/all types of wall repair and painting
Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the drywall trade
Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work

Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to create and maintain cooperative team building relationships

Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in others and shift responsibilities to take advantage of those strengths
