COME AND JOIN US . . . We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful and supremely professional Duty Manager, Front of House to join our team.

This role is vital to the day-to-day running of our business. You'll be front and centre, a point of contact for guests and employees alike, ensuring every operational element runs like clockwork. This role is fast paced and diverse, no two days are ever the same; your can-do attitude and impeccable attention to detail will be required to make fabulous things happen for our guests and members.

The on target earning potential for this role is £38,300 per annum - comprising a base salary of £33,800, plus a qualified estimate of £4,500 in gratuities and service charge. * As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

The Front of House team at Gleneagles are responsible for the first and last impressions for our guests. We're at the heart of the hotel, welcoming every guest from the moment they are collected by our Glen Drivers to our Linkman wishing them a fond farewell. Every step of our guest journey, from check-in through to departure, has to be seamless and consistently exceed expectations. Our vision is to create the most incredible experiences, ensuring a service that's unique, bespoke and tailored to our guests' requirements.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: You'll liaise with all departments across our business to anticipate any pinch-points and opportunities to surprise and delight our guests along the way. Problem solving is key to this role, with our support, you'll be well versed in the inner workings of the building, correcting common faults, or being able to flag to the appropriate team members. The go-to person for any guest feedback, supporting our people, you'll be able to build a rapport with everyone, offer assistance, and make key decisions on the best course of action. You'll help to oversee the smooth running of our operation alongside our Guest Experience, Guest Services and Guest Relations team. Assisting in ensuring that the guest journey is seamless in Front of House. Through regular checks you'll ensure that all fire, health & safety, licensing, and security requirements are maintained, always to the highest possible standards. Communication is paramount, you'll ensure that all information relevant to our guest journey is shared with all associated departments. No one day is the same, you'll be on hand to support your colleagues when they need it, from running bags, to booking dining reservations you'll do what needs to be done! An ambassador for our business and brand, you'll be out front, ensuring that all our guests are made to feel welcome, striving to exceed their expectations. You'll take huge pride in ensuring every guest and non-resident is welcomed warmly to Gleneagles, providing information on all aspects of the property, with expert guidance and always in a warm and thoughtful way. Actively following, and exhibiting all Forbes and Gleneagles standards at each and every interaction with our guests and members. Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations. The kind of person we're looking for: You have outstanding experience in a similar role and you're proficient in all the key hotel IT systems. With an adept understanding of luxury hotel offerings, you're keen to make your mark on our business and contribute to its continued success. You already hold a current First Aid certificate or would be willing to undertake First Aid training as part of this role. A natural 'organiser', you take great pride in supporting others and you're adept at managing a variety of sometimes conflicting priorities. Your attitude and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it's the first time. A real people person, you'll be able to find a connection with just about anyone, from anywhere. You're passionate about the industry and delivering a great service, showing flair and the natural ability to project a positive and friendly image. Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand. You have a positive "can do" attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner. A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail.
