Key Responsibilities
The Platinum AVP will lead and manage their team of Relationship Managers within a collective work setting aimed to support and grow our most valuable client base. The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills in leading their teams, daily management of business operations, hiring top talent, and desire for employee development that will deliver results. The leadership and coaching you will provide to your team will be established in the exclusive service expectations that is essential with high-net-worth clients. You will show a solid expertise in identifying business risk and effectively resolving escalated client issues.
The Platinum AVP will ensure proper support structures are in place for providing white glove service. You will also demonstrate an innovative mindset through identifying ways to develop processes to promote efficiency and productivity. The Platinum AVP will leverage data to establish improvement opportunities, strategies and plans designed to influence a white glove service experience for our high-net-worth clients and their service expectations.
Qualifications
Basic
Minimum of 3 years supervisory/leadership experience
Minimum of 5 years brokerage/financial service experience
Series 7, 63 required. Series 9, 10 highly preferred but is required after 90 days
Preferred
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
BS/BA Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience with an emphasis on Finance, Business and/or Economics
Demonstrated passion for coaching and developing individual contributors
Flexible to meet demands in an ever-changing work environment
Connect with others in a way that fosters trust and creates collaborative relationships
Ability to effectively motivate Team Leads and Relationship Managers to achieve performance objectives
Independently manage and drive multiple projects simultaneously
Proactively drive ideas/initiatives and gain support at the senior level of the organization
Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization up to and including senior leadership
Anticipate problems and proactively drive solutions
Work closely with senior leadership to develop, set, and manage goals for Platinum teams/Relationship Managers
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
Demonstrates self-confidence and the ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
Exhibit initiative in expanding knowledge across our business and participates in projects as appropriate
Detailed understanding of the securities industry including margin and equity/option trading
Ability to set and achieve stretch goals
Adhere to the schedule demands of a dynamic business environment, often requiring schedule and overtime flexibility
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
