SUMMARY

The Private Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for the retention and growth of E*TRADE's most valuable and complex clients. Through frequent and proactive client contacts, the RM will cultivate a personal relationship, gain an understanding of the client's investment needs, goals, objectives, and become a trusted resource. The RM is responsible for strategic practice management, which includes daily servicing/trading inquiries and enhancing the overall client experience with E*TRADE. This includes providing proactive consultations to engage clients and uncover opportunities to gather additional assets. After becoming a trusted resource, the RM is responsible to build/initiate strategic business discussions with the client to leverage the relationship for client referrals and for developing referral programs with other lines of business at E*TRADE.

Ability to successfully build, manage and retain relationships with the firms most valuable clients while remaining highly-focused on risk management
Ability to effectively support a team environment while excelling as an individual contributor
Ability to effectively plan, organize and execute multiple in-person client meetings while working within a stated budget (30% travel)
Ability to effectively plan, contribute and support client appreciation events and educational seminars (10% travel)
Ability to work and travel on nights/weekends

Ability to effectively negotiate with and retain clients in a highly competitive industry while remaining highly focused on profitability
Ability to understand and cross-sell full array of ET products and services
Ability to acquire new clients through referrals from existing client base
Must fully understand total customer offering at E*TRADE and stay apprised of all events and happenings in the financial services industry (consider removing)
Ability to exercise discretion and business judgment while communicating,
researching and resolving customer problems related to E*TRADE Securities
Excellent problem solving skills, effectively follow-up on all customer inquiries regarding account information, procedures, systems and products
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic
Series 7/63/66 licenses required
Minimum 10 years brokerage experience required
Preferred 
Must have professional experience developing business as well as cultivating relationships with affluent retail clients and/or active traders
Ability to provide concierge-type support to ensure retention of dedicated client-base
Ability to remain calm, professional, and in control in a volatile business environment
Must be focused on bottom line performance and constantly looking at ways to improve overall performance, sales, customer satisfaction and entire customer experience
Proactively demonstrates asset gathering and household acquisition strategies
Utilize independent decision-making skills to handle and resolve issues. Ability to work independently
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
Effective follow-up on all customer inquiries regarding account information, procedures, systems and products
Thorough understanding of the securities industry including equity and option trading
Responsible for comprehensively understanding platforms of all competitors in space and being able to viably articulate items that differentiate the ET offering
Capacity to place/review orders and to identify/escalate any trading related items
Complete understanding of E*Trade policies and procedures
Computer literacy including familiarity with online services, PC skills, and technical resolution. Ability to troubleshoot basic to advanced technical problems
Participate in the development, maintenance and communication of sales and activity report
