Position Overview: X-Bow Systems is seeking an early/mid-career Civil Engineer with experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to join our team in Luling, TX.
The successful candidate will join a team responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement project plans, including design specifications and engineering drawings using CAD software.
Conduct site assessments and surveys to collect necessary data for design and construction purposes.
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
Ensure that all civil engineering projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve design and construction issues promptly.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on CAD.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
