Job Description:
Responsible for management of staff and projects that support efforts to maintain a comprehensive, accessible physician network; to develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians and their office staff; to ensure full regional implementation of programs and initiatives that support a variety of corporate objectives; and to improve patient knowledge, self-management behaviors, and clinical outcomes by promoting, implementing, evaluating and sustaining a range of interventions in physicians' offices
Job Responsibilities Manages staff responsible for monitoring provider network through periodic access assessments of region.Operationalize overall direction from senior management related to maintenance and development of comprehensive, accessible, physician network.Oversee and participate in programs designed to assist physician offices improve business and operating processes as they relate to their relationship with Hill Physicians.Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of teams, projects, customer expectations, and business priorities to uphold department goals and achieve business objectives.Expected to collaborate with other internal resources for data production and analysis.
Shares information with and actively participates on a variety of internal and physician-based committees.Recruit and contract with providers, when necessary, as indicated by periodic access analysis results.Act as a liaison between team members, senior management, and physician leadership.Manage implementation and monitoring of innovative member health support, education, and treatment programs linked to behavioral health, alternative medicine, health education, and self-care.Ensure that system-wide programs developed at corporate offices are implemented within the region.Share regional information regarding physician, office, and patient needs with corporate offices to ensure dissemination of best practices throughout the organization.Supports regional and corporate efforts to partner with health plans and regional hospital systems to promote Hill Physicians for purposes of increasing public awareness in and enrollment with Hill Physicians Medical Group.Organizes internal and external meetings for Department members.Supports Regional Services Director.
May act as temporary Regional Director in his/her absence.Note: Regions may differ in scope of responsibilities assigned to Regional Services Manager.
May or may not include direct oversight of physician compensatory issues.Performs other duties as assigned. Required Experience Previous managed-care experience in areas of Provider Relations, contracting, support of physician practices or health education. At least 3 - 5 years of prior managerial experience required.Strong written- and oral-communication skills.
Comfortable and capable of presenting and representing Hill Physicians to a variety of internal and external audiences.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, motivate and lead internal and external resources and adeptly manage project scopes and deadlines.
Ability to travel and attend meetings that occur outside normal business hours.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of MS Office and Internet resources.Valid Driver's License and proof of auto insurance required. Required Education BA/BS required and Masters in related field (Healthcare Administration, Public Health, etc) is preferred. Additional Information Salary
$105,000 - $138,000 Annually
