Field Training Manager - East Coast In This Role: The Field Training Manager (FTM) is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing initiatives through the facilitation of in-house and field-based sales training programs. This role will create a collaborative and cohesive work environment between education, sales, and marketing to create successful and highly productive sales professionals. The FTM will execute field and classroom-based workshops, lead and facilitate virtual/remote training events, and design, build, and lead the Field Sales Trainer (FST) team in the execution of key sales training programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Major functions are described below. Other duties may be assigned. In collaboration with the Director of Sales Training, this role will lead the creation and facilitation of core sales training content focused on the Calyxo selling models.Facilitate sales training courses including leading virtual courses, in-house workshops, and field-based activities.Execute field rides with new and tenured sales reps as a performance coach, signing off on competency milestones.Responsible for upholding standards and quality of the sales performance and development program.Manage and direct Field Sales Trainers (FST) to effectively execute in-house courses and field-based/virtual activities.Provide timely and open coaching and performance feedback, ensuring a continuous process of skill development.Collaborate with marketing directors and product managers to develop and implement ongoing training programs.Participate in Regional and Area meetings to execute training and development sessions.Support vacant territories during transition or expansion periods as needed.Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a training role in the medical device field – Urology preferred.Experience as a high performing quota bearing sales rep or sales leader in the medical device field – Urology preferred.Demonstration of sustained, consistent growth in territory.Experience in leadership roles within an organization.Strong goal setting and implementation skills demonstrated by a clear record of accomplishments.Acts and models ethical and compliant behavior in daily business practices.Proven ability to provide and deliver excellent customer service.Travel up to 70%.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for Successful Job Performance: Demonstrated high level of sales performance in a highly technical, competitive environment.Excellent communication, written and verbal skills.Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel.Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment.Who You Will Report To: Senior Manager, TrainingWhat We Offer: At Calyxo, you will be part of a knowledgeable, high-achieving team. We offer a competitive salary with a base salary of $180,000, a $60,000 variable bonus, and additional allowances.
