Now, we're on the lookout for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven Territory Manager to join our team and serve our retail clients in Eastern Massachusetts.
In this role, you'll represent high-demand brands in publishing, gift, greeting cards, stationery, home fragrance, and personal accessories, while building lasting relationships with retailers in your territory.
Territory Managers in this area earn average annual commissions of $50,000 to $65,000.
What You'll Do:Develop and grow sales within an established account base.Call on existing accounts and prospect for new business in the field.Take orders and merchandise products for assigned retail accounts.Make face-to-face sales and close deals with confidence.Maintain strong communication and relationships with retailers.Deliver outstanding customer service every step of the way.Keep accurate contact and visit records using CRM tools.Stay ahead of the curve by acquiring in-depth product knowledge through training and competitive analysis.Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and new account goals.What We're Looking For:3+ years of outside sales experience with a track record of success.Strong face-to-face selling and deal-closing skills.Demonstrated ability to achieve sales in the top 20% of your field.Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.A proven history of building new business relationships.Superb organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.A self-starter who thrives when working independently.A positive attitude and relentless drive to succeed.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Why Harper Group?This is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to join a respected company that values its people and partners.
