The Echo Sonographer performs vascular or cardiac ultrasound procedures at a level of competence not requiring supervision of technical detail. Participates in a variety of patient care and technical activities related to the operations of the Cardiovascular Lab.

Requirements

- At least one year in the field of non-invasive cardiovascular testing or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program

- Minimum 2 years college education in the health sciences or paramedical training - Preferred

- Ability to read and communicate in the English language

- Current registry as a Vascular Sonographer or Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)

- BLS
