ResponsibilitiesThe Echo Tech performs standard cardiac ultrasounds, electroencephalogram (EEG), and electrocardiogram (EKG) including but not limited to transesophageal echo (TEE) and stress echoes ensuring the delivery of quality patient care.
QualificationsJob Requirements: 
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Certificate of completion from an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound program; One year of formal training at an accredited School of Cardiac Technology.
Registered sonographer (ARDMS or CCI/RCA) or required within 1 year of hire.
2+ years' experience in a similar position.
Ability to administer, read, and interpret EKG strips within 6 months of hire.
Commitment to become CPR certified within 6 months.
Must be available on call and holidays.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of normal vascular anatomy and hemodynamics, as well as the major disease processes of the Cerebral Vascular and Peripheral Vascular systems.
