Summary The schedule is MONDAY - FRIDAY. No weekends, no nights!  

 


Position Summary: Performs diagnostic echocardiographic ultrasound imaging procedures and sonographic images and measurements for the following populations; pediatric. Additionally supports the following procedures: TAVR and LAAO, TEE. Position requires call coverage.

 

Tasks:


Performs echocardiographic procedures, which include transthoracic, transesophageal, exercise stress echo and Dobutamine stress echo.
Verifies patient identification and examination order prior to performance of the procedure.
Prepares the patient for the echocardiographic procedure.
Assists during TAVR and LAAO structural heart procedures.


Requirements: 


Registered Cardiac Sonographer in 6 months
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in 6 mos
American Heart Association BLS Certification


Education: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field

Experience: 1-3 years
