The e-Commerce Section within UNICOR's Management Information Systems Branch is responsible for developing and enhancing features to Unicor.gov to meet the special needs of UNICOR customers and internal stakeholders while meeting all Federal Government security, and website
management policies. Applications and features utilize local databases and an ERP backend system. Incumbent provides Tier II and Tier III support for multiple enterprise applications including web applications using ASP.Net, desktop applications using .Net, database applications using MS SQL Server, ERP applications and remote function calls in SAP S4 HANA and MS Visual Studio for development, enhancements, and troubleshooting. Several customized applications serve other Federal Agencies to provide secure data exchanges of business-related data.
This candidate will work closely with business groups and IT leaders.
Therefore, it is preferred to have a candidate with solid working knowledge of UNICOR business operations, processes and key stakeholders.
list of detailed responsibilities related to eCommerce Senior Web Developer is outlined below:
•Design and Build Content Management System to support Unicor.gov using MS SQL Server and ASP.Net using MS Visual Studio.
•Design and Build front-end ASP.Net 4.7+ applications and features to support Unicor.gov customer experience using MS SQL Server and ASP.Net using MS Visual Studio.
•Design and Build back-end applications to support internal users and external data exchanges using MS SQL Server and ASP.Net or .Net using Visual Studio and .Net framework 4.7+.
•Build new styles and modify existing styles to accommodate website needs to HTML5 responsive standards.
•Mentor staff and contractors as needed to grow their skills and knowledge.
•Manage a secure and effective code repository with source-code control.
•Provide major support to migrate all eCommerce systems to an AWS cloud hosting environment.
•Remediate website security concerns as identified by UNICOR and DOJ security groups.
•Review issues and architecture needed to effect a rebuild of UNICOR.gov web content and databases from a 'gold' copy on a monthly basis.
•Develop and Build search web applications for customer and stakeholder using SQL or ERP data using ASP.Net 4.7+, MS SQL Server, SAP S4 HANA using Visual Studio.
•Design and Build web reporting systems for customer and stakeholder data in SQL or ERP systems using ASP.Net 4.7+, MS SQL Server, SAP S4 HANA using Visual Studio.
•Troubleshoot all the above systems for accuracy, reliability, scalability, access-controls, security, accessibility, and responsiveness as needed.
•Design and Build Data-bases, data-load scripts and stored procedures using MS SQL Server.
•Provide support for patches and maintenance of Operating Systems and applications as needed.
•Advise and assist web and database server administrators as needed.
•Provide technical documentation of systems, applications, and Disaster Recovery Plans as needed. Skill set info •Minimum 5 years of technical experience with ASP.Net development.
•Minimum 5 years of technical experience with MS SQL Server development.
•Minimum 3 years of technical experience with MS IIS/SQL Server
website(s) utilizing responsive .css style sheets.
•Minimum 3 years' experience with SAP R3 or S4 business systems and/or ABAP programming.
•Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining MS IIS websites.
•Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
•Must possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
•Demonstrated analytical, planning and problem-solving skills are required.
•Minimum 3 years' experience working with Federal Website Management requirements.
•Minimum 5 years' experience with written and verbal communications; communicating technical details with other IT specialists and communicating broad technical issues with non-technical staff. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•Minimum 3 years' experience with UNICOR business operations, processes and key stakeholders is preferred.
