Editorial Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate editorial production for multiple medical and scientific journals.Manage the administrative functions of the electronic manuscript submission system (Editorial Manager).Create and analyze journal reports using reporting tools.Manage low-volume social media for journal promotion (LinkedIn, Twitter).Provide data and support as requested by editorial boards.Requirements: 2+ years of experience in publishing medical or scientific journals.Experience with the submission system Editorial Manager (preferred).Strong administrative and organizational skills.Minimal involvement in marketing or social media management.Work Environment: Hybrid role: 2 days per week in-office in Washington, DC.
