Job Description
Revenue Cycle Insurance Training Specialist provides ongoing monitoring, support and education that emphasize standard clinic registration processes.
The Revenue Cycle Insurance Specialist serves as a subject matter expert and collaborates with clinics on behalf of the revenue cycle department to identify documentation and training gaps.
Provides ongoing communication and training for clinic registration staff.
Responsible for obtaining up to date insurance information and communicating accurate information, including agency requirements, to the appropriate individuals.
Act as expert for internal customers in insurers doing business in our region, such as government plans (DSHS, Medicare, Tricare) and fully insured, self-insured, PPOs, etc.

Required qualifications: upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role.
Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving.
Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
See policy for additional information. 3 years Working in a clinic front office or revenue cycle environment. 5 years Experience in insurance billing, such as (but not limited to), within an insurance follow-up department.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
