Job Description:
Are you a highly organized individual with a passion for supporting educational initiatives? We're seeking a proactive Education Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational endeavors. Your professionalism and commitment to confidentiality will be key as you facilitate communication and manage information effectively.
Salary: Competitive, ranging from $25 to $35 per hour based on experience and skills.
Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt
Reporting to: Business Manager
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless business function.
Assist in operational activities such as enrollment processes, scheduling, and monitoring course attendance.
Manage administrative tasks including phone calls, email communications, student information management, and file organization.
Support staff training, debriefings, and outreach efforts within district schools.
Handle high-volume phone communications with professionalism, maintaining courteous and effective interactions with potential clients.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning abilities with acute attention to detail.
Exceptional time management skills, adept at multitasking and task prioritization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
Bilingual capabilities in Spanish and/or Mandarin preferred.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
