Pittsburgh CLO is a not-for-profit cultural organization dedicated to the preservation, creation and promotion of the American musical theater art form, the furnishing of arts education and providing outreach and meaningful community service opportunities in Western Pennsylvania and throughout the United States. The Pittsburgh CLO, hailed as one of the nation's premier regional theaters, is seeking a college aged student for our EDUCATION – SUMMER CAMP ASSISTANT Internship – Downtown Location. Start Date: 6/9/2025 End Date: 8/8/2025 Approx. Hours per week: 35 # of Positions: 2 Assist the CLO Academy staff with its Summer Camp programs. Assist camp Directors, Music Directors and Choreographers. You may be asked to shop for some camp items outside of the designated camp hours. You may be asked to assist the other Summer Camp interns with production needs. Camp meets Monday – Friday. Camp location is at the CLO Academy of Musical Theater, located in downtown Pittsburgh. Must be in attendance for all end of camp performances on Friday's. Specific Responsibilities:Leadership role within the camps. Act as liaison between campers and parents.Supervise and coordinate camp lunch.Supervise check-in and check -out procedures.Supervise work study students.Initiate theater activities during break times.Strike set after each camp performance. Camp hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm & Friday evening performances. Requirements:Educational clearances are required.Experience supervising children ages 8– 16 years old.Superior multi-tasking skills recommended. Like working with children. Compensation and perks include pay at $7.25 per hour and tickets to each performance.
