Position Overview:
As an Education Technology Specialist, you'll be instrumental in fostering relationships and driving sales within a designated territory. Your role will involve collaborating closely with teachers, Fine Arts Directors, and other key decision-makers in schools to maximize their budgets and enrich student experiences through our innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the school sales process within your assigned territory, from prospecting to account management.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through a consultative approach, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
Stay abreast of district procurement processes and industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients.
Develop strategies to foster growth with existing school customers and secure repeat business.
Maintain expertise in music education technology products and industry dynamics to offer valuable recommendations to educators.
Provide feedback to enhance product positioning and pricing based on field insights.
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive attitude towards goal achievement.
Comfortable delivering executive-level presentations to key stakeholders.
Minimum of 2 years experience in outbound sales, preferably in the education sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with recording and music software such as Sibelius, ProTools, and Finale.
Experience with cloud-based CRM tools, with HubSpot knowledge being advantageous.
Knowledge of IDI usage and teaching experience is a plus, though not required.
