Job Summary
The job of the Educational Services Assistant is to perform a variety of clerical duties requiring specialized knowledge and independent judgment, frequent public contact; manage, analyze and disseminate a variety of information as needed to assist in proper functioning of the Educational Services Division; provide clerical support for an assigned function or program; and perform related duties as required.
This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
A High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of increasingly responsible clerical experience are required.
Proficient use of computer software.
DESIRABLE:
Experience using Financial 2000, Student Information System SIS (i.e., AIM/Aeries)
AA/AS Degree or higher in business administration or a closely related field.
Experience working in an ROP JPA, school district (preferably K-12), or county office.
Coursework or training in customer service.
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish
Typing Certificate of 50 wpm from an accredited agent within the past year (Typing certificates may be obtained from Temp Agencies.
Online or internet testing will not be accepted).
A valid California Class C Driver's License required
TESTING:
Applications received for this position will be screened, and once this process is completed, applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will receive an invitation (via Edjoin email) for testing.
Candidates will be invited to interview based on passing testing scores.
Please be advised - based on the needs of the business, the shift/hours for this position are Monday - Thursday, 11:45 AM - 8:15 PM & Friday 10:30 AM - 7 PM.
Times MAY vary during school recess periods (i.e., summer break, winter break, and spring break).
