Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join our team and oversee the safety and environmental compliance of our organization. The EHS Manager will be responsible for setting and performing safety and environmental compliance audits, creating and executing safety and environmental plans, developing and presenting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This position requires an individual with exceptional problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to stay current with the changing regulatory landscape.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage safety and environmental compliance plans and strategies. Perform safety and environmental compliance audits. Assist in developing and conducting safety and environmental training sessions. Monitor the organization for compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Investigate incidents and non-compliance issues. Review and recommend changes to safety and environmental policies. Develop strategies to improve safety and environmental performance. Communicate regularly with management, staff, and other stakeholders about safety and environmental issues. Manage and organize environmental documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental, or related field. Experience working in the chemical, manufacturing, or related industry. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and requirements. Knowledge of EHS Manager, Product Stewardship, ACD Responsible Distribution, CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM, OHST, CSHM, Transportation Classification Certification, Dangerous Goods, Industrial Hygiene, Distribution, SDS, and ERP.
