Ehs Manager

Summary: DSJ Global has partnered with an industry leading chemical manufacturer near Gaston, South Carolina, and they are seeking an innovative SHE Manager to join their family! As the SHE Manager, you will oversee all Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations, ensure site-wide compliance, manage SHE costs within the agreed budget, and lead safety initiatives throughout the facility.
SHE Manager Responsibilities: Create, implement, and train staff on SHE policies and procedures in line with regulatory and corporate standards.Conduct thorough investigations of SHE incidents, report findings, and coordinate corrective actions.Lead emergency response management and oversee the site emergency response team when necessary.Analyze and improve safety and environmental performance.Assist with Workers' Compensation.SHE Manager Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety, Loss Prevention, Occupational Safety, or a related field.At least 5-10 years of safety and accident prevention experience in a manufacturing setting.Chemical manufacturing experience is a PLUS.Extensive knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations.Familiarity with Title V and NPDES regulations.Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance.401(k) Plan.Bonus Opportunities.Paid Time Off, Holidays, and Floating holidays.Relocation Assistance.Pet Insurance and more!Compensation: $85,000 - $115,000 (Depends on Experience).
