\n Primary Responsibilities: Provide electrical hardware and software design support for industrial projectsDevelop or assist with the creation of design packages for bid and constructionCoordinate and execute electrical design and programming of Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI, VFD and Servo motion projects through construction and start-up phasesAssist with electrical engineering and drawing efforts as neededAssist with the creation of project documentation including schedules, specifications, and cost estimatesProduce high quality project deliverables while working in a collaborative team environmentGather field data and provide installation, start up, and troubleshooting supportWork on multiple projects Respond to and support client/project requests for ongoing controls troubleshooting of production equipment (may include nights and weekends)Climb stairs/ladders and do field data gathering in hot environmentsWork around food products including, but not limited to, peanuts, wheat and almondsInterface directly with client(s) Required Qualifications:Two-year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent technical experienceFive years of relevant PLC/HMI programming experience in manufacturing environments, including troubleshooting complex projects Required Previous Experience with the Following:Rockwell PLC5 and ControlLogix hardware applicationsVFDs and Inverter Duty Motor applicationsElectrical system design schematics and control panel identification/layout design Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalentProficient with using AutoCADProficient with server-based HMI's Preferred Previous Experience with the Following:Ethernet and Ethernet/IP NetworkingSensing technologiesControl systems for process or packaging line integration. Examples include case packing, metal detection, palletizing, pneumatic conveying, dust collection, ovens/cookers, and other related process/packaging equipmentVision inspection and barcode scanning
