Electrical Engineer

My client is a global leader in energy technology. They are located in 90 countries, they operate across the whole energy landscape. From conventional to renewable power, from grid technology to storage to electrifying complex industrial processes.
They are looking to hire an electrical engineer (f/m/d) in the field of electrical power supply for industrial compensation systems. The role will include but not limited to :
- Technical processing of control and regulation for industrial compensation projects
- Development and implementation of conceptual and technical solutions within an
international team of experts
- Preparation of design specifications and project planning of the control system (Software & Hardware / Network Technology & Communication / Cyber Security)
- Execution of function, performance and customer acceptance tests
- Implementation of the commissioning of the plant at home and abroad Qualifications
- Completed university degree in the field of electrical engineering / energy technology /automation technology or comparable training in a technical field with several years of professional experience
- First professional experience in the field of electrical power supply (medium and high voltage) and its secondary technology
- Ideally experience with protection, control and regulation systems (e.g. Siprotec, Simatic, Beckhoff)
- Knowledge of simulation systems (e.g. Matlab / Simulink) is an advantage
- Confident communication in German and good English skills
- Willingness to travel worldwide
