Actalent is looking to hire a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team! Description: 6+ years of expertise in automotive Electrical System Design and Development Leads team, delegates work (internal & external) to ensure projects are appropriately staffed and milestones are achieved, prioritizes activities, and fosters vision for the electrical team. Guide team on providing technical expertise; advise on best solutions and recommendations in design. Layouts, schematics, wire harness design, electrical control, procurement of parts. Experience with SolidWorks design software. Maintain knowledge of all applicable codes, safety requirements, and other standards. Ensure project deliverables are completed at expected quality, within budget, and on schedule. Prepare reports and communicate project status updates to leadership, and internal clients. Lead engineering team by leveraging strengths and helping achieve goals/deadlines. Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, coordinate design with all other disciplines. Support/prepare working drawings and specifications; perform detailed calculations for complex projects. Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times. Assist leadership with executing the strategic initiatives of the firm and sharing ideas for improvement on implementation.
