REQUIREMENTS All candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering (with EE experience) or a related discipline. Masters or Ph.D. degrees are preferred, but not required. Ideal candidates will have experience drafting patent applications and assisting with drafting of opinions, as well as performing freedom-to-operate patent searches and literature searches. Patent Agents are also encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES The position will provide support to partners and associates of the firm, specifically with domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, researching and drafting legal opinions for clients, and patent office litigation matters.
