Position Description: We are looking for an Entry Level Substation Designer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Michigan offices. The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and zero to three years of experience. An associate degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is preferred. Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCad, Autodesk Revit, and/or Microstation is preferred. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have strong writing, and communication skills.
This position will perform entry level CAD drafting for electrical substation projects, requiring basic technical knowledge utilizing client specific standards, document control processes & procedures, in accordance with governing industry codes and standards.
This position requires periods of intense concentration. This position is hybrid, with the option to be within a normal office environment, work fully remote, or a combination thereof. This position requires infrequent travel.
