The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interpreting electrical prints and wiring diagrams, conducting visual inspections, performing electrical testing, and ensuring the quality and compliance of low voltage wire harnesses. This is a long-term position that offers the opportunity to collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret prints and wiring diagrams to verify proper pinouts, wire routing, connections, and labeling of low voltage wire harnesses. Conduct thorough visual inspections of incoming low voltage wire harnesses for defects, damage, and compliance with specifications and standards. Perform electrical testing and continuity checks to verify proper functionality and connectivity of wire harnesses. Execute minor rework on wiring harnesses as necessary. Record and document inspection results accurately. Identify, report, and communicate non-conformities or issues found during inspections to the appropriate stakeholders. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to provide feedback on inspection findings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications & Experience: Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection, testing, and rework, preferably with low voltage wire harnesses. Certification or training in electrical systems, electronics, or quality inspection is a plus. Proven experience in electrical inspection, testing, and rework. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety protocols. Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools for electrical inspections. Proven experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Experience in documenting inspection results and identifying non-conformities. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
