Requirements for applying for this role: Valid Illinois License, but Iowa or Wisconsin Masters encouraged to applyFour to five years of relevant electrical experience (or more!) You will love coming to work every day if you: Have a thorough understanding of the National Electrical CodeCan work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixturesCollaborate with peers and leadership to evaluate job requirements and costsAre capable of operating heavy machinery (telehandlers, trenchers, etc.)-training is providedCan complete Main Panel Tie-Ins and Meter TapsCan diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issuesPerform electrical work efficiently with minimal site visits Success at Arrow Electric is driven by clear processes and the ability to: Give clear directionsLift 50-75 poundsWork cooperatively with a team to install PV productsLead safe work practices for the Field Operations teamDeliver exceptional customer service by educating customers about the product(s) and providing real-time updates on job status We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone contributes to our collective success. In this role, you will be expected to: Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems, including switches and circuit breakersInspect electrical components, such as transformers, to ensure they are working properly and safelyIdentify electrical problems using testing devices and repairing or replace faulty equipment, wiring, or fixturesPlan the layout of wiring to comply with blueprints and safety requirementsCommunicate with customers to establish job details and related costsEnsure you have the necessary hand toolsConduct productive meetingsEmbrace and contribute to our distinct company culture, which is pivotal to our success and a key factor in achieving both individual and organizational goals Starting package includes: Health, dental, and vision insurance401k with 3% company matchingTwo weeks paid vacationOne week paid sick timeSolid base salary with commissions based on licensureAmazing work culture
