Join Our Team as an Electronic Access Control Hardware Technician Job Summary: We seek an experienced Electronic Access Control Hardware Technician to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of electronic access control systems, primarily in multifamily residential developments. Your duties will include:
Programming access control systems. Providing training to property and maintenance management personnel. Offering technical support both remotely and on-site. Responsibilities: Program electronic access control systems for new construction projects, ensuring proper installation and functionality. Train property and maintenance management staff on access control software usage and maintenance tasks related to electronic systems. Provide remote and on-site technical support for electronic access control systems. Coordinate and manage logistics for system conversions at older sites, minimizing disruption to operations. Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure successful implementation and maintenance. Regular travel, including local and out-of-state trips, is required. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Answer calls and texts after hours to provide timely support. Adhere to safety protocols and requirements on active construction sites. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Understanding of electronic access control systems and their components. Proficiency in programming access control systems. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience in providing training and maintenance support. Project management experience is valuable. Willingness to travel with short notice. Availability for after-hours support.
