Electronic Projects Engineer BYU is constantly conducting world-changing research and engaging student projects. You can be a part of it! The Electronics Project Engineer is a pivotal role requiring expertise in analog and digital electronics design, proficiency in using prototyping tools, and the ability to guide the scope of student projects in a dynamic learning environment. This position is also responsible for maintaining equipment, supporting lab activities and advising a team of student technicians. What you'll do in this position: Design and implement analog and digital systems for class projects and faculty led research projects. Consult with students on capstone projects and student class projects in need of circuit design expertise. Maintain inventory of components for the Experiential Learning Center. Advise and mentor a team of student technicians. Assist with department facilities upgrades and maintenance What qualifies you for this role: Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or three years of schooling in a relevant field plus two years of part-time experience in relevant experience.
