Electronic System Engineer

Position: Electronic System Design Engineer Duration: 6 Months Location: Saline MI QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems (Hardware/Software) Understanding general automotive vehicle electrical system design and system/ECU specifications Understand LAN (CAN/Ethernet) and Power distribution (12V/High voltage) for system development Communication and negotiation - able to work with others within the organization to share and communicate ideas with other Toyota stakeholders (including TMS and overseas companies) to gain agreements on direction Presentation skill - able to create a simple and concise story to communicate detailed technical data as simple message to TMNA executives and TMC Understanding of electrical platforms BONUS Understanding of Toyota vehicle development process - >5 years of vehicle development experience Experience developing Software Defined Vehicle. Software structure (ex. hypervisor system) Developing machine learning, application and control software for prototype Software programming skill: C++, Python, Tensorflow, Numpy, Matlab
