Job Title: Electronics Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Technician to support our production function. This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for processing customer repair requests, evaluating variable frequency drives, conducting component level troubleshooting and repair on drives, and effectively documenting all repairs and test results. The role also includes planning workload and assisting the team with any rush items that require special attention.
Hard Skills Associates degree in industrial electronics, electronics engineering, or electronics training with 3 years' experience Proficiency in reading and comprehending schematics for electronic circuits Experience using oscilloscope, multi-meter, soldering, and de-soldering equipment Surface mount component repair experience Repair experience for CNC or manufacturing equipment Knowledge of AC and DC motors Soft Skills Ability to work in a team environment Self-starter Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs when required Effective troubleshooting and critical thinking methods Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site This is a fully on-site position in CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Michigan.
Work Environment You'll have your own workstation/bench in a quiet, air-conditioned shop environment. We are currently in the process of reorganizing all incoming equipment.
