A well-established manufacturing company in the Farmingdale, NY area is looking for a full-time Test Technician. NY Relocation costs of $10k plus $10k sign-on bonus for right candidate.
Company willing to assist employees in finding housing.
Pay: $24-$28/hr Annual bonuses of $3k-$5k based on KPIs and personal targets.
Qualifications
Testing of assembled spectrometer units.
Knowledge of using test application software's
Microsoft office utilities, power supplies, light sources, test equipments including multimeters, oscilloscope, function generators etc.
Team communication desired for achieving weekly production demands.
Responsibilities and Duties
Operating and testing of OEM optics products using opto-mechanical, electronic hardware and software tools.
Validating quality control tests for optical products.
Assistance to Manufacturing group.
Assistance to Service Department including trouble shooting OEM products.
Use of Intercompany Database Software for production and service transactions. Requirements
Technical school back ground required.
Knowledge of handling optics, electronics and mechanical parts.
Ability to read and follow test instructions for OEM products.
Ability to use hand tools for assembly and soldering irons.
Sufficient PC knowledge, hardware and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Most important a willingness to be a team player.
